TY Management

TY Management Corporation “TY” is a Hawai‘i corporation. TY owns and operates the Kapalua Plantation Golf Course, a premier, destination golf course used by the PGA to host its annual Sentry Tournament of Champions. TY also owns and operates the Kapalua Bay Golf Course and the Golf Academy, which is a golf school and practice facility. Outside the

PGA Tournament, the Kapalua Plantation Course and Kapalua Bay Course support 100 full time jobs and 50 part time jobs, and generates substantial economic activity for West Maui. TY is committed to providing the financial support for this initiative, and has created this website to share ongoing updates with the community.

How TY has helped give back to the community

Donations to 20 Non-Profits

TY donated $750,000 to Peace Winds America, enabling grants for 20 Maui nonprofits to offset losses from the PGA Sentry Tournament’s cancellation due to Kapalua’s water issues.
Donations to Watershed Preservation

From 2024 through 2026, TY donated a total of $1,500,000 to non-profit organizations that protect and care for the Pu‘u Kukui Watershed.
Temporary School

After the Lāhainā wildfire, TY renovated an unused restaurant to build an interim campus for Hawaii Technology Academy. The campus is lease-free.
Hoʻola Lāhainā

Via the Hua Momona Foundation, TY supports local architecture firm Kasprzycki Design, which offers pro bono plans and permitting services to Maui residents who lost their homes. Currently, 70 building permits have been granted.
Temporary Housing

To help victims of the Lāhainā wildfire, TY worked with local architects, construction companies and professionals to build 50 temporary housing units named Kapalua VIllage, which are currently fully occupied.
